Il Polo Direzionale De Cecco è il risultato dell´unione di due elementi semplici la cui relazione spaziale reciproca costituisce l´organismo generale: l´edificio basso con i “piani bucati” e “l´edificio anulare” sovrastante. La superficie degli uffici è pari a 1000 mq per un totale di 335 posti di lavoro, con un´altezza complessiva di circa 40 m.

“L´edificio anulare” è l´organismo centrale che caratterizza il progetto, la sua mesh strutturale caleidoscopica contrasta marcadamente con l´orizzontalità dell´edificio basso.

Il vuoto del sesto piano, piano d´acqua, acentúa la differenza volumetrica tra i due corpi.

I “piani bucati” consentono di dare all´edificio un ´iluminazione anche nei punti più interni. Si crea in questo modo un sistema verticale e diagonale di suazi su diverse altezze che garantiscono una serie infinita di scorci interni.

La ricerca di spazi di lavoro mai banali e sempre “sorprendenti” costituisce la prerrogativa del progetto. Questo permette di migliorare altamente le condizioni di vivibilità e produttività.

Si porta l´acqua in accostamento all´edificio in una città che prense il suo nome dal fiume Pescara e che fa del suo rapporto directo con il mare uno dei Maggiore elementi di caratterizzazione ed identità. L ´edificio sarà un plexo funciónale completo con servizi sufficienti (alla persona, di accoglienza, amministrativi e servizi alla ristorazione del personale) per avere gestione funciónale unica o separata, senza accavallamento di competenze, funzioni e mansión. MASSIMILIANO FUKSAS

Di origini lituane, Maximiliano Fuksas è nato a Roma nel 1944, dove si è laureato in Architettura all´Università ”La Sapienza” nel 1969.

Nel 1967 crea il suo Studio romano, cui seguono nel 1989 en el 1993 i suoi studi di Parigi e di Viena. Dal 2002 è attivo ance in Germania, con uno Studio a Francoforte.

2007 Napoli, Premio Cubo d´oro alla carriera ed all´architettura

2007 Primo Premio conferito al progetto Europark, Salisburgo, da parte dell´International Council of Shopping Centres – Categoría “Refurbishments and/or Expansion”

2006 Membro Onorario del Royal Institute of British Architects

2006 Award of Excellence, ULI (Urban Land Institute), Washington DC, USA, per il nuovo polo della Fiera, Rho Pero, Milano, Italia.

2005 Premio Nazionale per l ´Architettura dell´ANCE _ IN ARCH 2005 per la realizzazione del nuovo Quartier Generale, Centreo Ricerche Ferrari, Maranello, Italia.

The New Business Centre for Pescara is the result of integration of two simple elements: a low height building with a punctured plane and the “annular” building sitting on top.

The dynamic three-dimensional structure of the rounded building punches the straightforward structure of the “holed” lower volume, linking the two bodies in a whole element.

Natural light is brought to the office levels through the floor openings.

The random position of these apertures creates diagonal views throughlevels. The water plane at the sixth level recalls the river Pescara where the city takes its name, creating a perfect place to meet and rest.

These complex establishes itself as icon of early twenty first century architecture.

The product election is extremely accurate. The product is the technical porcelain with the best qualities that nowadays we can find in the market. It is high transit, water absoption under 2% (under any European Community Rule), full body, monocaliber, and modular. Gallery is a monocolour collection: black generates neutrality. This project looks for emphasize straight and curve shapes, then floor tile has to be discrete. Floor contributes to homogenize the space. The polished finish make bigger the devious building forms with optical reflection.

MASSIMILIANO FUKSAS

Native of Lituania, Maximiliano Fuksas was born in 1944, where he graduated in Architecture at “La Sapienza University” in 1969.

In 1967, 1989 and 1993 he established practices in Rome, Paris and Vienna respectively and since 2002 he opened a new studio in Frankfurt.

From 1998 to 2000 he was Director of the VII Biennale Internazionale di Architettura di Venezia “Less Aesthetics, More Ethics”

Since January 2000 writes the architecture column of the weekly magazine “L´Espresso”

He was Visiting Professor at several universities, such as the cole Speciale d´Architecture in Paris, the Akademie der Bildenden Kunste in Viena and the Columbia University in New York. For many years he has been devoting special attention to the study of the urban problems in large metropolitan areas.

Presently lives and works in Rome, Paris and Frankfurt.

He works with Doriana O. Mandrelli since 1985.
