GALASSIA PRESENTA LA NUOVA COLLEZIONE MEG11, Designer A.Pascale

È il nuovo progetto di Industrial Design che nasce dalla ricerca di un nuovo linguaggio, di nuove soluzioni formali per l’ambiente bagno. Partendo dai sanitari a terra, che con il loro basamento “alleggeriscono” il blocco ceramico e che fanno da modello a tutta la collezione, il progettista e l’azienda hanno voluto riproporre dei simboli, degli oggetti, che riproducessero forme naturali, morbide, rassicuranti. Il lavabo monolite, proposto anche nella inedita versione in legno Iroko, o il lavabo sospeso, che stravolge completamente la tradizionale soluzione della “semicolonna” con una soluzione che ingloba i due elementi, diventano elementi scultorei di particolare e fine eleganza. Lo stesso linguaggio viene riproposto negli accessori in ceramica, segni ideali per la concezione contemporanea dell’abitare, che si vuole libera e flessibile. Elementi dal carattere forte, evocativo, simbolico, che si sposano perfettamente con il rigore formale dei mobili e cassettiere in abbinamento.

La vasca in Pietraluce ®, con il suo disegno ondulato ma regolare, riporta alla mente la forma di una foglia: per questo, nonostante la sua funzione, quest’oggetto ispira sensazioni di leggerezza, di sensualità e di semplicità. MEG11 è un progetto costituito da molti articoli e varianti, da comporre come in un gioco secondo la propria idea di funzionalità ed estetica.

GALASSIA PRESENTS THE NEW COLLECTION MEG11, Designer A. Pascale

Meg 11, the new Industrial design project, born from the research of a new language, new formal solutions for bathroom environment. Back to wall pans and bidets, with their particular base lighten the ceramic block; the entire collection has been designed following this peculiar structure. The designer and the Company would like to suggest symbols as well as objects which reproduce natural, soft and comforting lines. The monolith washbasin, proposed in the new Iroko wood version, as well as the wall hung washbasin, which completely change the traditional concept of the semi-pedestal with a solution that include both elements, give life to refined and elegant sculptures. The ceramic bathroom fittings, using the same language, are designed to reach the everyday living concept, more and more free and flexible. They have a strong, evocative and symbolic nature and they perfectly match with the formal linearity of furniture and cabinets they are combined with .

The Pietraluce ® bathtub, with its wavy but regular design, reminds the shape of a leaf: for this reason , despite of its proper function, this bathtub suggests feelings as lightness, sensuality and simplicity. MEG11 is a project composed of many different articles, to create the bathroom concept following everybody’s functional and aesthetic ideas.
