UNO SGUARDO AL FUTURO

A settembre 2010 Futura ha stupito ancora con dei nuovi prodotti, frutto della continua ricerca e dell’innovazione tecnologica. La cura dell’aspetto estetico, la sperimentazione tecnica, la ricerca di materiali e di tessuti esclusivi fanno degli imbottiti Futura dei prodotti unici e destinati a durare nel tempo. Nel corso degli anni i prodotti Futura si sono distinti per innovazione e originalità: sedute trasformabili che con poche e semplici mosse possono cambiare forma e funzione: da divano a letto, da poltrona a chaise longue con punti di appoggio o scomparti da utilizzare come contenitori. 57 ANNI DI INNOVAZIONE

I primi anni ’50 erano il tempo in cui il design italiano nasceva e si sviluppava sulla base delle nuove tecnologie. In questo periodo, infatti, nel campo dell’imbottito, il ‘salotto del tappezziere’ di un tempo, va trasformandosi negli elementi d’arredo tipici dei nuovi soggiorni, concepiti per un rinnovato modo di abitare. Proprio nel 1953 inizia l’avventura di Luigi Recalcati quando, da appassionato, comincia a studiare la struttura degli imbottiti ottenendo innumerevoli brevetti. Sulla base dell’esperienza maturata da Luigi Recalcati, il figlio Roberto decise di creare nel 1985 il marchio Futura, caratterizzato dall’impronta del furniture design attuale di alta qualità, non solo tecnologica, ma anche culturale. Studi e brevetti, realizzati in considerazione delle leggi sull’antropometria e della biomeccanica, distinguono oggi la produzione Futura che vuole coniugare in ogni pezzo bellezza e funzionalità. I modelli Futura esprimono innovazione e tecnologia nel modo e nel mondo dell’abitare. Un divano da due o tre posti con elementi orientabili a 360°. Allontanando gli stessi si crea un tavolino tra una seduta e l’altra. Gli elementi, che hanno lo schienale reclinabile in più posizioni, si trasformano in una chaise longue o in un letto. AN INSIGHT INTO THE FUTURE

Futura strikes again in September 2010 with new products that are the result of its ongoing quest for research and technological innovation.

The care of aesthetics, technical experimentation, its sourcing of exclusive fabrics and materials are what makes Futura upholstered furniture unique and designed to last a long time. Futura products have become synonymous with innovation and originality over the years: seating whose shape and functions can be transformed in a few simple moves: from a sofa to a bed, from an armchair to a chaise longue complete with shelves and storage compartments. 57 YEARS OF INNOVATION

At the beginning of fifties the Italian Design was born and its development began to focus on new technologies. During those years the sector of upholstered furniture began to move its interest from old type of “upholsterer-made suites” to different style of living room elements designed with a keen eye on a new way of living. Just in 1953 began the adventure of Luigi Recalcati when he decided to further develop his great interest in the structure of padding receiving innumerable patents. From this experience reached from Luigi Recalcati, the son Roberto decided to found in 1985 the FUTURA brand, establishing itself as a supplier of modern high quality design, not only at technological but also at cultural level. Researches and patents, realised in consideration of the laws of anthropometry and biomechanics, mark today the production FUTURA which joins together in each item beauty and functionality. The models FUTURA express innovation and technology in the style and in the world of living.

A two- or three-seater sofa with elements that can be moved 360°. Move them apart and you have a coffee table between one seat and the next. The elements have a multiple-position reclining backrest and can be converted into a chaise longue or a bed. Open the zip on the soft cover for a cosy blanket whenever you feel like a quick nap. Cinemà is also available as a one seater armchair.
