SIGNATURE STYLE MEETS EXCITING NEW PRODUCTS FOR CHRISTOPHER GUY
The Christopher Guy display will aim to create a sophisticated and contemporary full lifestyle concept. 2011 is set to bring signi_cant expansion of Christopher Guy’s accessory and home accents lines and the selections shown at Milan are a preview of the exciting developments to come. To achieve the luxurious yet at-home feel, the display will feature installed windows, drapes and _replaces to create the comfort and warmth of a home environment. New shades of Riviera and Alcantara® fabrics will be used and splashes of red in the Main Salon as well as lilac in the Master Bedroom and Dining Room will be seen among the predominantly neutral and white hues. Tufting and welting, two key design elements associated with luxury, will be featured in most upholstered pieces. Guests will preview 50 new pieces incorporating the signature and exclusively patented “Chris-X” design element as well as the “Silk-cut” detail, ranging from dining and occasional chairs, sofas, headboards, bookcases, to mirrors and decorative accessories as an introduction to the new collection.
Highlights of the Christopher Guy display will include the Main Salon consisting of a dining and full living room concept. These combine exquisitely upholstered and intricately hand-carved pieces, both testaments to the talent of Christopher Guy Harrison and the artistic craftsmanship of his wood carvers in Java. The Dining Room will feature a grand rectangular table with sculptural chairs in varying heights and fabrics. Two new bedroom settings will each be accentuated with plush accessories and will feature eye-catching headboards, cabinets and tufted chaise lounges.
A second elegant living area will be located adjacent to the Master Bedroom. Christopher Guy has also collaborated with two renowned luxury brands; Lasvit, a Czech lighting company, will provide their stunning chandeliers and Maison & Maison, a French company, will complete the perfect ambience by providing _replaces and vintage radiators. De_ned by the singular design philosophy of “A Contemporary Mood with Classic Values,” Christopher Guy furnishings have garnered acclaim worldwide and grace the homes of Hollywood celebrities as well as luxury hotels and resorts around the globe.
